This wall light sets a natural ash wood back plate and a slim linear arm against a bright coral pink shade, a warm and easy look for everyday rooms. The 16cm tapered shade is hand-pleated from digitally printed faux linen, with neat taped edging and a plain inner lining that keeps the light soft. An adjustable knuckle lets you angle the head, so you can point the glow down for reading or lift it to wash the wall. The fitting stands 200mm tall, projects 225mm, holds a single B22 bulb up to 7W and is fully dimmable.

We think the Danemere earns its place in a lot of rooms. The adjustable arm makes it a good bedside choice, freeing your side table while putting light exactly where you want it. It suits hallways that need a soft welcome, and it sits happily either side of a mirror or above a reading chair in the living room. The coral pink Ripple shade lifts neutral walls with a touch of colour, so it works in calm, classic rooms as well as brighter, more playful schemes where you want a little warmth.

The metalwork is finished in brushed aged brass, a warm mid-tone that pairs well with wood and cream. The arm and wall back need a little assembly, and a fixing tool is included to make the job simple. Because it is rated IP20 and wired as an earthed Class 1 fitting, keep it to dry indoor rooms rather than bathrooms. To care for it, switch off, let the bulb cool, then wipe the metal with a soft dry cloth and lift dust from the shade with a lint-free cloth or soft brush.
