Description
The Dallas is a 123.5cm linear suspension light carrying 25 amber-tinted glass globes on a gold metal frame. Each globe houses a G9 bulb (28W per bulb, sold separately), with the amber glass tinting the light output to a warm, golden tone. The frame suspends on adjustable cables, allowing the fitting to be set between 31.9cm and 133.9cm from the ceiling.
Designed for long dining tables, kitchen islands over 2.5m, and double-height entrance halls, the Dallas provides distributed task and ambient light across a wide area. The linear arrangement of 25 globes avoids the single-point-source shadowing common in centred pendants, making it functional for food preparation and dining as well as decorative. The adjustable drop suits ceilings between 2.6m and 4m, with the fitting typically positioned 70-90cm above a table surface or worktop.
The gold finish on the metal frame is a warm-toned plated brass that reads as antique gold rather than bright yellow gold under most lighting conditions. The amber glass globes measure approximately 10cm diameter each, giving the fitting a substantial presence without blocking sightlines across a room. The combination of gold frame and amber glass pairs with warm wood tones, terracotta, ochre and olive interiors, and works in both contemporary and traditional settings. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas only.
The Dallas is part of Maytoni's modern decorative collection and shares its design language with the wider Dallas range, which includes matching wall lights and shorter pendant variants available separately at Niori.

Frequently Asked
Do the bulbs come with the fitting?
No. The Dallas requires 25 x G9 bulbs at 28W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with G9 LED bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) to reduce running costs and heat output compared to halogen G9s.
What ceiling height is needed?
The fitting suspends on adjustable cables between 31.9cm and 133.9cm from the ceiling. For a dining table or island worktop, the fitting typically sits 70-90cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. Higher ceilings up to 4m can accommodate the full drop.
What length table does it suit?
The 123.5cm length suits dining tables and kitchen islands between 180cm and 280cm long. The linear arrangement of 25 globes distributes light evenly across the full length, avoiding dark spots at the ends of longer tables.
Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?
The suspension cables can be adjusted to different lengths individually, allowing the fitting to hang level beneath a sloped ceiling. Consult a qualified electrician for sloped-ceiling installations to ensure safe cable routing and weight distribution.
