Description

The Dalia is a 40cm square LED wall light with a layered white frame that creates a recessed central panel, giving the fitting a stepped three-dimensional profile. An integrated 40W LED behind the central panel produces 2800 lumens of warm 3000K light, illuminating the wall around the fitting and casting soft ambient light into the room.

Designed for living rooms, hallways, bedrooms and entrance areas where ambient rather than task lighting is needed, the Dalia provides diffused light without glare or visible bulbs. The 80mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting relatively low-profile for its size, making it suitable for walls alongside furniture or in narrower corridors without protruding too far into the space. The white finish on the metal frame allows the fitting to blend with white or light-coloured walls while the layered geometry adds architectural detail.

The integrated LED is non-dimmable and cannot be replaced if it fails, but Mantra backs the fitting with a 3-year warranty covering LED and driver failure. At 3.55kg the Dalia requires secure fixing into a solid wall or directly into a stud behind plasterboard — the weight is too high for standard cavity fixings alone. The fitting draws 40W from a 220-240V mains supply and produces enough light to serve as the primary source in a smaller room or as supplementary ambient lighting in larger spaces.

What fixing is needed for the 3.55kg weight?

The fitting must be secured into a solid masonry wall using appropriate wall plugs and screws, or directly into timber studs behind plasterboard. Standard cavity fixings will not safely support 3.55kg.

Is 2800 lumens enough to light a room on its own?

2800lm is equivalent to a traditional 150-200W incandescent bulb, which is enough to provide primary lighting in a smaller bedroom, hallway or bathroom. In larger living rooms the Dalia works better as ambient or accent lighting paired with additional sources.
