Description
The Dakla is a 450mm square LED wall light built from layered white metal panels rotated at subtle angles to create depth and geometric shadow lines. An integrated 30W LED module sits behind the panels, casting 1810 lumens of warm 3000K light through the gaps between the layers and across the wall surface. The fixture projects 65mm from the wall and weighs 4.8kg, giving it a solid architectural presence.
Designed for hallways, living rooms, dining areas and staircases where ambient wall lighting is needed without ceiling fittings, the Dakla works as a single statement piece or in pairs on either side of a doorway or mirror. The 120° beam angle spreads light widely across the wall, reducing hard shadows and providing even coverage over a 2-3m section of wall. The non-dimmable LED is rated for 100-250V mains, making it compatible with UK and international electrical systems.
The white powder-coated metal finish keeps the focus on the geometric layering rather than colour contrast, pairing well with white, off-white and light neutral walls in contemporary and minimalist interiors. The overlapping square panels create a shadow-play effect that shifts depending on the viewing angle and time of day, adding visual interest to plain wall surfaces. The integrated LED eliminates bulb replacement for the fixture's lifespan, backed by a 3-year warranty from Mantra.

Frequently Asked
Is the Dakla dimmable?
No. The integrated 30W LED is not dimmable and operates at full output when switched on. If dimming is required, a separate wall switch with dimming capability will not work with this fixture.
What wall surface is needed for installation?
The fixture weighs 4.8kg and requires a solid wall with appropriate fixings. Plasterboard walls need wall plugs rated for the weight, or fixing into timber studs or battens behind the plasterboard. The back plate has pre-drilled mounting holes.
How much light does it provide?
The integrated LED delivers 1810 lumens at 3000K warm white with a 120° beam angle. This is sufficient for ambient lighting over a 2-3m section of hallway or living room wall, but not enough as the sole light source in a large room.
Can it be used outdoors?
No IP rating is listed in the specification, so the Dakla is designed for indoor use only. It should not be fitted in bathrooms, wet rooms, or any outdoor or weather-exposed location.
