The Dakla is a 280mm square wall light built from overlapping rotated square panels in matt white, housing an integrated 18W LED that delivers 1090 lumens at 3000K through the layered geometry. The panels are offset at 45 degrees to each other, creating triangular gaps at the corners where light escapes, while the central square acts as the main diffuser.

Designed for hallways, living rooms, bedrooms and stairwells where architectural accent lighting is needed without ceiling fittings, the Dakla casts both direct forward light and angled corner light onto the wall surface. The 60mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting low-profile, while the 120-degree beam angle spreads light across a wide area rather than concentrating it in a narrow spot. The fitting mounts directly onto a standard UK back box with concealed fixings behind the white faceplate.

The layered square geometry creates depth and shadow play as the light interacts with the offset panels, particularly visible in the triangular corner gaps where the 3000K LED produces warm accent light against the wall. The matt white finish absorbs rather than reflects room light, keeping the fitting discreet during the day and allowing the geometric form to emerge only when the LED is switched on.
