Description

The Knightsbridge CyroLED bezel is an 86mm diameter ABS trim ring designed to fit CyroLED fixed and tilt downlight fittings. The white finish matches standard white emulsion and gives a clean edge where the downlight meets the ceiling. At 4mm depth, the bezel sits nearly flush once the downlight is recessed, minimising projection into the room.

The bezel works with both fixed and tilt versions of the CyroLED downlight range, fitting over the lamp housing after the downlight is installed in the ceiling void. It conceals the cut-out edge and any gap between the fitting and plasterboard, giving a finished appearance in kitchens, bathrooms (check the IP rating of the lamp itself), hallways, retail spaces and offices where recessed lighting is used.

ABS construction keeps the bezel lightweight and resistant to cracking during fitting. The matt white surface does not yellow under heat from LED lamps and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Multiple bezels can be fitted across a ceiling grid to maintain visual consistency when using multiple downlights in the same space.

Can the bezel be painted?

ABS can be painted with suitable plastic primers and emulsion, though the factory white finish is designed to match standard white ceilings without painting. If you do paint the bezel, ensure the downlight is removed or masked to avoid paint on the lamp housing.

Does the bezel affect the light output?

No. The bezel sits around the outside edge of the downlight and does not obstruct the lamp aperture or reflector, so it has no effect on lumen output or beam angle.
