CyroLED Anti-Glare Bezel - White With Black Baffle

The CyroLED Anti-Glare Bezel is an 86mm diameter trim ring in matt white ABS with a matt black internal baffle, designed specifically for use with Knightsbridge CyroLED Anti-Glare downlights. The white outer ring sits flush with the ceiling finish while the recessed black baffle reduces direct glare by controlling the viewing angle of the lamp inside the downlight.

Designed for residential and commercial installations where glare control matters — living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and office spaces — the bezel clips onto the CyroLED downlight housing after the ceiling cut-out has been made. The white finish blends with standard white or off-white ceiling paint, while the black baffle absorbs stray light reflections that would otherwise bounce back into the room at angles that cause discomfort. The 5-degree projection from the ceiling plane keeps the bezel nearly flush with the ceiling surface.

The ABS construction provides durability without the weight or thermal expansion issues of metal bezels, and the matt finish on both the white and black surfaces resists fingerprints during installation. The 86mm diameter is standard for CyroLED Anti-Glare downlights and matches the ceiling aperture required for that range, so no additional cutting or adaptation is needed once the downlight itself has been fitted.

How does the black baffle reduce glare?

The matt black baffle absorbs light that would otherwise reflect off a white or metallic interior surface and bounce into the room at uncomfortable angles. By controlling the viewing angle, the baffle lets the downlight's light output reach the floor and surfaces below while minimising direct glare when viewed from seated or standing positions.

Can the bezel be painted?

The white ABS outer ring can be painted with standard emulsion if you need to match a specific ceiling colour. The black baffle should not be painted, as altering its matt black finish would reduce its glare-control effectiveness.
