Description
The Cylorin is a 240mm alabaster table lamp built around a solid cylindrical column of natural Spanish alabaster, set on a compact circular black metal base. An integrated LED concealed within the column casts warm 3000K light upwards and outwards through the stone, turning the alabaster wall itself into the diffuser and giving the lamp the appearance of a single glowing object when switched on.
Sized as a small table lamp at 240mm tall and 140mm in diameter, the Cylorin suits bedside tables, console tables in entrance halls, sideboards behind a sofa, and shelf positions in living rooms or studies. The integrated LED removes the need to choose or replace a bulb, and the upright cylindrical form takes up minimal surface footprint, leaving room for books, trays or other objects on the same surface.
Each alabaster cylinder is cut from natural Spanish stone, so mineral veining, tonal banding and translucency vary between individual lamps. The black base introduces a defined visual weight at the foot of the column and contrasts cleanly against the soft-white stone above, giving the lamp a more architectural reading than a fully pale fitting. The 230V mains-wired construction places the Cylorin in the same lighting register as larger alabaster pieces while keeping the scale appropriate for smaller surfaces.

Frequently Asked
Does the Cylorin take a replaceable bulb?
No. The Cylorin uses an integrated LED concealed within the alabaster column, so there is no separate bulb to fit or replace. The LED runs on 230V mains and produces warm 3000K light.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer or smart switch used with integrated LED fittings. Please contact us before pairing the Cylorin with a dimmer so we can confirm whether your chosen control is compatible.
Does the alabaster look the same on every lamp?
No. Each cylinder is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining patterns, tonal banding and the way light passes through the stone vary between individual lamps. This natural variation is part of the material rather than a defect.
How should the alabaster be cleaned?
Wipe the alabaster gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, as alabaster is porous and softer than marble.
