Description
This round wall clock is made from black metal, cut out into an open frame so the wall behind shows through between the numbers and spokes. It measures 60cm across and only 3cm deep, a generous size that reads clearly from the far side of a room. Around the outer rim, the minute numbers run from 05 to 55 in five-minute steps, with 60 at the top where twelve would usually sit. Inside that, a second ring and slim straight spokes lead in to a solid round centre that carries the black hour and minute hands.
At this size it is made for a good stretch of wall: above a sofa in the living room, over a dining table, at the end of a long hallway or on a chimney breast. Because the frame is open, it gives a large blank wall a focal point without looking heavy, and the bold numbers keep it easy to read at a glance. Black sits comfortably against pale grey, white and soft neutral walls, and holds its own on deeper painted colours too. It pairs well with natural wood and soft textiles in a relaxed modern room, and suits a more industrial scheme just as readily.
The clock runs on one AA battery, a common size that is easy to find and simple to swap when it runs down. Made from metal, it needs very little looking after: dust it now and then with a soft dry cloth, which reaches easily between the spokes and around the numbers. Before you hang it, measure up and mark the centre point, leaving clear wall all round so the cut out design has room to breathe. Hung with its centre at around eye level, it becomes the piece the rest of the wall is arranged around.

Frequently Asked
How big is this wall clock?
It measures 60cm across and 3cm deep, so it suits a large wall above a sofa, a dining table or a fireplace.
What battery does the clock take?
It runs on one AA battery, a standard size you can pick up easily and swap in when it runs down.
What is the clock made from?
The rim, spokes and centre are metal in black, cut out into an open design so your wall shows through behind it.
How do I read the time with minute numbers?
The outer rim counts the minutes in fives from 05 to 55, with 60 at the top, and the hands read just as they would on any clock.
Which rooms does it suit?
Its size and open frame work well in a living room, dining room or long hallway, wherever there is a broad stretch of wall to fill.
How should I look after it?
Dust it gently with a soft dry cloth from time to time; the open frame makes it easy to reach every part of the clock.
