Our Curved Four-Point Star 3D wall panels bring a clean geometric pattern to a plain wall. Two large pointed ovals run corner to corner along the diagonals and cross at the centre, forming a single four-pointed star whose curved points reach all four corners. Each point is split lengthways into two flat facets. Where the ovals overlap they make a curved-sided diamond, divided into four faces like a pyramid, with thin curved slivers left along each edge. Stepped arcs and angled facets give the relief its crisp lines. Each panel is a 50 x 50cm square of white PVC.

These panels are made for interior walls in homes, offices, hotels and shops. Run them across a feature wall behind a bed, a sofa or a reception desk and the star repeats edge to edge into a steady geometric rhythm. The relief is 25mm deep, so light falling from the side casts soft shadows along every facet, and the wall shifts in mood as daylight moves round the room and the lamps come on. The pattern reads through shape and shadow alone, which keeps it calm in a busy room and gives a bare one plenty to look at.

Each panel is made from a 0.8mm sheet, and PVC is waterproof, so a wipe with a damp cloth keeps the panels looking fresh with little maintenance. Fitting needs no special equipment: spread adhesive on the back of each panel, press it onto the wall, cut panels to fit where the wall ends, then fill the joins with filler and wipe them clean. Adhesive and filler are sold separately. Four panels cover one square metre, which makes it simple to work out how many your wall needs. For the strongest effect, choose a wall beside a window, or light it from one side with a wall lamp, so the light rakes across the stars.
