Description

The Cumbuco II is a 380mm round flush ceiling light with a 30W integrated LED behind an acrylic diffuser, surrounded by a matt black metal frame. The integrated LED offers three selectable colour temperatures, 2700K extra warm white, 3300K warm white, and 4000K cool white, switched via the standard wall switch. The light delivers 2200 lumens through a 145° beam angle, providing general room illumination.

Designed for rooms with low ceilings or minimal ceiling void depth, the 68mm total height sits tight to the ceiling without visible gaps. The flush-mount design suits bedrooms, hallways, home offices and utility spaces where ceiling-mounted pendants are impractical. The black frame creates a defined circular outline against white or light-toned ceilings, while the acrylic diffuser prevents visible LED hotspots and provides even light distribution across the room.

The matt black finish on the metal frame absorbs rather than reflects light, creating contrast between the illuminated centre and the dark perimeter. The acrylic diffuser is UV-stabilised to resist yellowing over time. At 1kg total weight, the fitting mounts directly to a standard ceiling rose or junction box without requiring additional support. The non-dimmable driver is housed within the 68mm profile.

How do I change the colour temperature?

The three colour temperatures (2700K, 3300K, 4000K) are selected by cycling the standard wall switch. Turn off the light, wait 3-5 seconds, then turn it back on to cycle to the next temperature setting. The light remembers the last setting used when switched on normally.

What ceiling void depth is required?

The fitting is 68mm tall and designed for direct surface mounting to a ceiling rose or junction box. No ceiling void is required. The entire fitting sits below the ceiling line, making it suitable for solid ceilings and rooms with minimal headroom.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED and driver are integrated into the fitting and are not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation, which equates to around 11 years of use at 6 hours per day.

What room size does the 2200lm output suit?

2200 lumens at a 145° beam angle provides general illumination for rooms up to approximately 12-15m². For bedrooms, home offices and utility rooms this is typically sufficient as the primary light source. Larger living spaces may benefit from two fittings or additional task lighting.
