Description

The Cuba is a 4-light LED bar pendant built around intersecting matt black metal frames with brushed gold accents, hosting four circular opal glass diffusers. Each diffuser houses an integrated LED module, with the four combined delivering 2400lm at 3000K warm white across a total 32W draw. The framework suspends from a rectangular black ceiling plate on adjustable cables, allowing the drop to be set between 690mm and 1500mm on installation.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and commercial hospitality spaces where architectural presence is needed alongside functional light output, the Cuba works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above. The 880mm linear span suits table lengths of 1.6-2.4m, providing distributed task light without a single central hotspot. The criss-cross frame creates depth and shadow play under ambient room lighting, while the opal diffusers prevent glare from the LED modules when viewed from dining or seating height.

The black framework is powder-coated steel with a low-sheen matt finish, and the gold detailing is brushed brass-effect metalwork that wraps each circular diffuser housing. The combined weight of 3.2kg requires secure ceiling fixings into either a joist or spreading plate rather than plasterboard alone. The 120-degree beam angle from each diffuser spreads light broadly rather than creating defined pools, making the Cuba suited to ambient and task lighting rather than accent or display lighting.
