Cristal Square LED Crystal Flush Ceiling Light 12W 4000K - Chrome

The Cristal is a 280mm square flush ceiling light built around a mirrored chrome glass frame surrounding a frosted centre panel embedded with clear crystal accents. An integrated 12W LED behind the frosted panel produces 1200 lumens of 4000K cool white light, diffused through the crystal-textured surface and reflected outward by the surrounding mirrored glass border.

Designed for low-ceiling rooms where a pendant or semi-flush would encroach on headroom, the Cristal sits 60mm from ceiling to base and suits hallways, bathrooms, cloakrooms, and bedrooms with ceiling heights under 2.4m. The 120° beam angle provides broad ambient coverage across a 3-4m room without hotspotting. The polished chrome frame reflects surrounding finishes and makes the fitting appear lighter than its 1.7kg actual weight.

The mirrored outer frame remains smooth and uninterrupted, while the centre panel introduces texture through the raised crystal accents scattered across the frosted glass. When lit, the 4000K LED casts light through the frosting and refracts through the crystal pieces, creating small points of brightness against the diffused background. The cool colour temperature sits between warm white and daylight, providing clarity for task-heavy spaces without the clinical tone of 5000K+ office lighting.

The fitting arrives fully assembled with the LED module factory-fitted behind the glass. It fixes to a standard UK ceiling rose and requires mains wiring by a qualified electrician. The non-dimmable LED is rated at 12W with a 3-year manufacturer warranty covering both the LED module and the fixture body.

Is this suitable for bathrooms?

The Cristal carries no IP rating in the specification table, so it is not rated for bathroom zones 1 or 2 where water contact is possible. It can be used in bathrooms outside the regulated zones, typically more than 600mm from a shower or bath edge.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and should not be connected to a dimmer circuit, as this may cause flickering or damage the LED driver.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 60mm projection makes it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.2m upward. It works particularly well in low-ceiling spaces where a pendant would reduce usable headroom.

How is the glass cleaned?

The mirrored chrome frame can be wiped with a soft microfibre cloth and glass cleaner. For the crystal-textured centre, use a dry or barely-damp cloth to avoid water pooling around the raised crystal accents.
