The Creation rug is a traditional design with a vintage look, worked in grey and gold. Across a pale grey field runs an all-over pattern of small flowers, sprigs and fine trailing stems, gathered loosely around a soft central motif, and a wide floral border with slim guard bands frames the rectangle. The vintage character comes from the colour: the gold and taupe tones look gently faded and broken in places, while brighter gold flecks catch the light against the cool grey ground.
