Description

The Cove Stripe is a modern rug with a coastal feel, laid out in broad bands of soft blue and cream that run across its width. The stripes are evenly spaced and cleanly edged, with a fine line where each band meets the next, so the pattern reads crisp from across the room. The blue is a gentle sky shade rather than a bright navy, and the cream keeps the design light and fresh. It is a simple striped rug that brings a little of the seaside indoors.

Its calm colours suit a living room, a bedroom or a reading corner, and sit easily alongside pale wood floors and neutral walls. We sell it in three sizes. The 80 by 150cm rug suits a bedside or the space in front of a chair. The 120 by 170cm size fits a smaller living room or sits under a coffee table, and the 160 by 230cm rug is large enough to go under the front of a sofa or a bed.

Turn it so the stripes run across a narrow room and the space feels wider; turn it the other way and they lead the eye along it. Before choosing, we suggest marking the outline of each size on your floor with masking tape, leaving a border of bare floor around the edges. Pick the size that lets your furniture sit comfortably on or beside it.
