Description

Country Floral is a rectangular rug in our Purple colourway, printed with a meadow of wildflowers in soft watercolour tones. Purple and blue blooms rise from the bottom edge alongside pink flowers, feathery grasses and sage green leaves, all set on a cream ground that keeps the design light and airy. It is digitally printed on polyester, which lets the fine detail of each petal and stem come through clearly, and its romantic, country feel sits happily in a cottage or a more modern home.

Hallways are where this rug comes into its own. The 61 by 170cm runner and the 76 by 230cm runner bring colour to a long, narrow passage and soften bare boards or tiles. The 76 by 150cm size suits the space by a front door or at the foot of the stairs. The 122 by 170cm and 152 by 230cm rugs are large enough to sit in front of a sofa or beside a bed, bringing a garden feel to a sitting room or bedroom.

Care is simple: the rug is washable, which makes it a sensible choice for a busy hallway that sees muddy boots and everyday spills. Rather than worrying about a pale rug in a hard-working spot, you can freshen it up and put it back in its place. Before choosing a size, measure the floor and leave a little bare space around the edges so the flowers sit neatly in the room.
