Description

Country Floral is a printed rug that brings a summer meadow indoors. Loose, watercolour wild flowers in soft and deep blues rise from an ivory ground, threaded with sage green stems and a few warm brown grasses, so the design feels gentle rather than busy. The pattern is digitally printed onto 100% polyester, giving every petal and leaf a crisp, clear edge. It is a romantic, cottage-style floral rug in our Blue colourway, quiet enough to sit with plain floors and pale walls.

The two runners are made for hallways and landings: choose 61 by 170cm for a shorter passage or 76 by 230cm for a longer one. The 76 by 150cm size suits a bedside, an entrance or the floor in front of a console table. In a living room or bedroom, the 122 by 170cm rug sits in front of a sofa or at the foot of a bed, while the 152 by 230cm size suits a larger room, under a sofa or a bed. The ivory ground keeps a narrow hall or smaller room feeling light.

Care is straightforward: the rug is washable, which makes it a sensible choice for a busy hallway, a family living room or a bedroom where spills happen. On wooden or tiled floors, we would lay it over an anti-slip underlay so it stays put. Before you order, measure your space and leave a margin of floor showing around the edges; that border of bare floor lets the flowers breathe and settles the rug neatly into the room.
