The light our Cornet Steel Pendant Lampshade casts is soft and directional, spilling downward through an open spiral edge that lets a little brightness escape at the side too. The shade is formed from two curved planes that wrap into a cone, giving it a sculptural quality that reads well from every angle. In black with a steel-toned finish, it settles happily into modern and pared-back rooms alike, and we like how the matt surface keeps reflections gentle rather than glaring. At 13.4cm wide and 23.8cm tall, it holds a neat, compact profile that suits smaller spaces without feeling lost in larger ones.

This pendant lampshade is made from aluminium, which keeps it remarkably light at just 0.24kg while staying sturdy in daily use. It measures 12.4cm deep, so it hangs close and tidy above a kitchen island, a bedside spot, or a reading nook. The shade takes an E27 bulb up to a maximum of 15W LED, which is not included, leaving you free to pick the warmth you prefer.
