Corinne 6 Light Chandelier - Polished Nickel

The Corinne is a 622mm spherical chandelier built from intersecting curved bands of polished nickel that form an open orb around six E14 candle bulbs. The bulbs sit on a central cylindrical hub inside the sphere, with the curved metal bands arcing around them from a polished nickel ceiling canopy. The open structure means light radiates in all directions through the gaps between the bands.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.8m or above, the Corinne combines a sculptural presence with functional ambient lighting. The 1524mm chain allows the drop to be adjusted between 864mm minimum and 2343mm maximum on installation, making it suitable for both standard-height dining positions and grander two-storey entrance halls. The six E14 bulbs (sold separately) provide 360W maximum output when fully loaded with 60W candle bulbs.

The polished nickel finish on all metal components — bands, hub, chain and ceiling canopy — reflects both daylight and artificial light, amplifying the chandelier's presence in the room. The curved bands themselves are approximately 30mm wide and form a symmetrical orb that reads as a complete sphere from most viewing angles, despite the open construction. This allows the bulbs to be visible as part of the design rather than hidden inside a shade, which works particularly well with decorative filament or clear glass candle bulbs.

The Corinne is part of Feiss's architectural lighting collection and pairs with both contemporary and transitional interiors. The polished nickel finish sits between the warmer tones of brass and the cooler tones of polished chrome, making it a neutral metallic that works alongside stainless steel appliances, grey joinery and warm-toned wood furniture without visual conflict.

What bulbs does the Corinne take?

The chandelier takes six E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs, sold separately. Each socket accepts up to 60W, though most users fit 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700-3000K) for a total output equivalent to 240-360W incandescent. Decorative filament or clear glass candle bulbs work well as the bulbs are visible through the open frame.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 864mm to 2343mm. For dining table installation the chandelier typically hangs 700-900mm above the table surface, which suits ceiling heights of 2.4m and above. For double-height entrance halls or stairwells the full 2343mm drop allows the chandelier to be positioned at eye level on the upper landing while remaining visible from ground level.

Is the drop adjustable after installation?

The chain length is set during installation and cannot be adjusted without removing the chandelier and re-threading the cable through the chain. Plan the desired drop before fitting.

How is the polished nickel finish maintained?

Wipe with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid household metal polishes or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the plated finish over time.
