With our 2.1m of textile cord, this white cord set gives you generous length to hang a shade exactly where you want it, whether that is above a dining table, over a bedside spot or trailing down from a high ceiling. The canopy measures 7.0cm, keeping the fixing point neat against the ceiling, and the whole set weighs just 0.25kg. It is the flexible starting point for your own lighting, so you choose the shade and it comes with the flex, canopy and lampholder ready to go.

The cord set takes an E27 bulb up to a maximum of 15W LED, which is not included so you can pick a warmth and brightness that suits the room. It carries a maximum load capacity of 2.1kg, which means it comfortably holds most of our shades, including the feather shade shown here fitted onto it. We finish the cord and canopy in white so the whole assembly reads as one clean line, and because it sits well against pale ceilings it stays quietly in the background while your chosen shade does the talking.
