Description

At just 5cm in diameter, our Cord Connector Light in Brushed Brass is small enough to sit unobtrusively along a length of flex, yet it does a genuinely useful job. It is a compact opal sphere set on the cable, joining two lengths of flex where you need them met. This is not a lamp or a shade, but a neat connector that lets us bring two runs of cord together while keeping the join tidy and considered. It is made so that the practical part of your lighting setup looks as thought through as the fitting at the end of it.

The sphere is finished in Brushed Brass, a warm tone that we like against both pale and darker interiors. It is made from steel and PP, so it holds its shape while staying light on the cable. Inside sits a terminal block with strain relief and a cover for the connecting electrical wire, which keeps the wiring protected and takes the tension off the join. This is an indoor fitting only, and we would ask you to keep it well away from damp or exposed settings. It carries CE and UKCA markings, so you can be confident it meets the standards we work to across our lighting.

If you are using the connector to extend a cable for a pendant, please make sure the cable you are adding can handle the same weight as the one you are extending, as we do not want any join carrying more than it should. The connector is only suited to H03VV type cords, so do check your flex before you fit it.
