Description
The Corano is a single pendant light built around a 185mm cylindrical shade carved from natural travertine stone, capped with a turned dark walnut wood collar. A walnut-toned braided fabric flex runs from the ceiling to the timber cap, where the cable terminates into a single E27 lamp socket housed inside the stone cylinder. Light is directed downward through the open base, with a soft glow filtering through the porous travertine walls.
Sized for tight clusters above kitchen islands, breakfast bars and dining tables, the 65mm diameter and 185mm height suit installations where two, three or five pendants are hung in a row at varying drops. The compact shade also works as a single fitting over a bedside table, console or hallway niche. The E27 fitting accepts standard screw bulbs (sold separately), with a narrow cap-shaped or golf-ball LED in warm white giving the cleanest visual match to the stone tones.
Each travertine cylinder is cut from natural stone, so the surface pitting, mineral pockets and beige tonal banding vary between pieces. The dark walnut cap and matching brown flex pick up the warmer notes in the stone and give the pendant a tactile, material-led appearance rather than a polished metallic one. The stone shade carries real weight against its small footprint, anchoring the fitting visually even when hung in a wide ceiling void.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Corano take?
The Corano uses a standard E27 (Edison screw) lamp, sold separately. A narrow cap-shaped, candle or small golf-ball LED in 2700K-3000K warm white gives the cleanest match to the travertine and walnut tones. Avoid wide globe bulbs, as the 65mm internal diameter is narrow.
Does the travertine vary between pieces?
Yes. Travertine is a natural stone with characteristic surface pitting, small mineral pockets and tonal banding. Each cylinder is cut from a different section of stone, so the colour, pattern and texture differ between individual pendants. This is a feature of the material rather than a defect.
Can it be hung in a cluster?
The compact 65mm diameter makes the Corano well suited to clusters of two, three or five pendants at staggered drops. Hung above a kitchen island or dining table, set the pendant heights between 700-800mm above the worktop or table, with at least 200mm of horizontal space between each cylinder.
Is it suitable for bathrooms?
The Corano does not carry a published IP rating, so it is intended for indoor, dry locations only. It should not be installed in bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2, or in any position where it is exposed to direct moisture or steam.
