Description

The Coral runner is a Moroccan style design in blue, with a cream diamond trellis drawn in softly wavering lines along its whole length. The blue ground has a gently mottled look, which gives the pattern a relaxed, sketched feel rather than a crisp, hard edge. It is machine made from polyester and mixed recycled fibres, with a flat weave that lies low and even underfoot, and a slim darker edge finishes each side.

We see it working well along a hallway or landing, where a long, narrow rug covers the busiest path through the house. It suits a living room too, running alongside a sofa or across the space in front of a fireplace. Blue and cream sit comfortably with pale wood floors, white walls and natural textures. It comes in two sizes: a 61 by 170cm runner for a shorter hall or a doorway, and a 76 by 230cm runner for a longer corridor.

The rug is washable, so spills and muddy footprints from the front door need not be a worry. The design is digitally printed, which is how the trellis keeps its fine, sketched lines and soft shading.
