Description

Our Coral rug is a modern geometric design in the Blue colourway: rows of stepped diamonds in a soft greyish blue on a cream ground, each one holding a small motif at its centre, framed at either end by a pair of bold stripes. The pattern is digitally printed onto a machine made flat weave of polyester and mixed recycled fibres. With no raised pile, it lies flat and smooth underfoot.

It is made for the living room, where the cream ground brightens a wooden or neutral floor and the blue pattern gives a plain sofa or armchair something to sit against. Choose 122 by 170cm or 152 by 230cm to anchor a seating area, with the front feet of the sofa resting on it, or one of the smaller sizes, 61 by 120cm or 76 by 150cm, beside a chair or under a coffee table. The two runners, 61 by 170cm and 76 by 230cm, carry the same geometric design along a hallway or a landing.

Because it is washable, an everyday spill need not mean the end of a pale rug, which settles the main worry about putting cream on the floor of a room you actually use. As a flat weave it has no deep pile to flatten under the feet of a sofa. The digital printing is what keeps the stepped diamonds and border stripes so sharply defined.
