Description
The Coniston is a 300mm-wide crystal wall light with two E14 bulb fittings behind a cascading arrangement of faceted clear crystal droplets on an antique brass frame. The crystals are arranged in overlapping tiers that step down from the top, creating a waterfall profile approximately 245mm high and projecting 180mm from the wall once mounted.
Designed for hallways, dining rooms and bedroom feature walls where decorative accent lighting is needed, the Coniston pairs well with traditional interiors, heritage properties and warm-toned contemporary schemes. The antique brass finish carries a slightly patinated tone that softens reflections compared to polished chrome or polished brass, and pairs comfortably with warm woods, terracotta, deep greens and earthy neutrals. The two E14 bulbs sit behind the upper crystal tier, casting light through the droplets to create refracted patterns on adjacent walls and ceilings.
Each crystal droplet is individually cut and hung on the brass frame, so the fitting arrives pre-assembled with the crystal tiers intact. The brass itself is solid metal rather than plated, giving the frame a 2.75kg weight that provides stability once wall-mounted. The fixture accepts any standard E14 candle or golf ball bulb up to 20W per fitting (bulbs sold separately), and is compatible with dimmable LED bulbs if paired with a suitable dimmer switch.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does it take?
The Coniston takes two E14 candle or golf ball bulbs up to 20W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a soft ambient glow that complements the antique brass finish.
Is it dimmable?
Yes, when paired with dimmable E14 LED bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Check that both the bulb and the dimmer are rated for LED dimming to avoid flicker.
How is the crystal cleaned?
The crystal droplets can be wiped gently with a dry microfibre cloth while the power is off and the bulbs have cooled. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid spraying water or cleaning products directly onto the crystals or the brass frame.
Does the antique brass tarnish over time?
The antique brass finish is applied as a patinated surface tone, so it already carries a slightly aged appearance. It is lacquered to prevent further oxidation under normal indoor conditions, but in high-humidity environments (bathrooms, coastal properties) some natural tarnishing may occur over several years.
