This shade is built around a tight artichoke form, with overlapping pointed leaves that layer over one another to build a rounded, textured silhouette rather than a smooth dome. Finished in a clean White, it settles easily into calm, pared-back rooms as well as busier spaces that need a little structure overhead. At 48cm high and 38cm in diameter, it holds its own without crowding the room, and the leaf detailing casts a gently broken pattern of light as the bulb glows behind it.

This shade is made from polypropylene and polycarbonate, materials that keep the piece light while holding the crisp edges of each pointed leaf. It arrives as a pendant lampshade, but the same shade works equally well on a floor stem or table base, so you can move it around as your rooms change. Assembly takes around 15 minutes, and we include an assembly video to walk you through each step. The shade takes an E27 bulb up to a maximum of 15W LED, which is not included, so you can choose the warmth and brightness that suits the setting.

To get the best from the White finish, we suggest pairing it with a warm-toned LED, which softens the surface and picks out the shadow lines between the leaves.
