Our Comfort Circle is built around one idea we keep coming back to: a round table that extends when you need it to. In its closed form it measures 132cm across, a comfortable round for everyday meals, and when more space is called for the central insert leaf takes the width out to 202cm while the height stays at a steady 74.7cm throughout. The change from four to a fuller setting takes only a moment, which gives room for extra guests without keeping a second table in reserve.

This table comes in Nero steel, a deep dark finish that sits well against both pale and moody schemes, set on four square-sectioned stepped legs in the Rippled style. Those legs carry a subtle tiered profile that catches the light along each edge, and the round top rests above them with the central leaf giving the surface its extra reach. Made from solid oak, MDF and steel, it weighs 50kg and holds a maximum load of 120kg when weight is spread evenly across the top. It meets the EN 15372-L2 furniture standard, and we supply an assembly video so you can put it together in around twenty minutes.

To keep the Nero steel looking its best, we suggest wiping the surface with a soft, dry cloth and clearing spills promptly rather than letting them settle. Avoid dragging heavy items across the top, and lift dishes into place to protect the finish over the years of use we hope you get from it. Paired with upholstered chairs or a run of simpler seats, the round shape draws people together, and the extending leaf means we can widen the setting whenever more of us sit down to eat.
