Description

Colors LED G9 5W Dimmable Bulb is a G9 lamp in white glass. A small cylindrical LED lamp with a frosted sleeve, the diodes showing through as a soft grid of warm squares rather than as sharp points. The sleeve is a plain straight tube with a domed top, and the body steps down to a flat white base with two stiff wire pins. The frosting takes the hardness off the array without hiding it. There is nothing printed on it. It is small enough to sit inside a fitting where only a little of it shows.

It fits any G9 holder, so it goes straight into a fitting that already takes one, and it is the lamp rather than the fitting that sets how the light reads. Put it where it can be looked at: a bare holder on a flex, an open cage, a clear shade or a run of pendants over an island. Inside a closed shade none of the shape survives and a plain lamp would do the same work for less. The light is a warm white, which suits a room you sit in rather than one you work in. Check the fitting it is going into takes the size: a decorative lamp is larger than a plain one and wants room round it, which is part of why it is worth seeing.

It has a G9 cap and fits any G9 holder. It is rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms. It carries a G energy label.
