Collier 5 Light Chandelier - Heritage Brass

The Collier is a 5 light chandelier built on a heritage brass circular frame suspended by six brass rods that converge at a central ceiling canopy. Five seeded glass cylinders, each approximately 150mm tall, enclose individual E27 bulb holders positioned around the 685mm diameter frame. The glass shows deliberate seeding and bubbling that refracts light when the bulbs are lit, casting textured shadow patterns onto surrounding surfaces.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Collier pairs mid-century geometric structure with exposed filament bulb aesthetics. The 779mm fitting height allows it to sit 900-1200mm above a dining table when the 1524mm chain is adjusted during installation, keeping the glass cylinders out of sightlines while providing adequate downlight. The maximum drop of 2406mm suits double-height entrance halls and stairwells.

The heritage brass finish carries a warm golden tone with subtle patina variation across the metalwork, giving the frame a lived-in appearance rather than high-polish new brass. Each of the six suspension rods attaches to both the ceiling canopy and the circular frame, distributing the chandelier's weight across multiple fixing points. The frame itself features cylindrical brass detailing at each bulb position and knurled brass knobs where the rods meet the frame, adding tactile detail at close viewing distances.

Each E27 socket accepts bulbs up to 60W, giving flexibility to choose filament-style LED bulbs that suit the exposed-bulb aesthetic or standard warm-white LEDs for higher light output. The seeded glass cylinders measure approximately 100mm diameter and 150mm height, large enough to accommodate decorative oversized filament bulbs without the bulb exceeding the glass opening.

What bulbs does the Collier take?

Each of the five fittings takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. The exposed-bulb design pairs well with vintage-style filament LED bulbs in warm white (2200K-2700K) or standard LED bulbs for higher brightness.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop is 932mm from ceiling to the base of the fitting. For dining tables, the chandelier typically sits 900-1200mm above the table surface, which suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The maximum adjustable drop of 2406mm accommodates double-height spaces and stairwells.

Can the drop be adjusted after installation?

The chain length is adjustable on installation only. Once the ceiling canopy is fixed and the chain set to the desired length, further adjustment requires re-accessing the ceiling void and electrical connection.

How is the seeded glass cleaned?

The glass cylinders lift off the brass bulb holders once the bulbs are removed. Wipe with a microfibre cloth dampened with distilled water or glass cleaner, then dry thoroughly before reassembling. The seeded texture inside the glass may trap dust in the bubbles, so periodic cleaning maintains clarity.
