The heritage brass finish presents as a warm, slightly aged metallic tone with subtle variations across the surface.

Designed for dining rooms, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Collier works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The 3048mm chain allows drop adjustment from a minimum of 772mm to a maximum of 3770mm on installation, so the chandelier can be set 700-900mm above a dining table or 1200-1500mm above an entrance floor depending on ceiling height and room proportion. The circular brass canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses.

The mid-century inspired frame combines minimal metalwork with maximum light transmission — the frosted glass diffuser is the primary visual element when lit, with the brass frame providing structural definition around the perimeter. Each of the three uprights connects to the central rod via cast brass knobs that give the frame a hand-assembled character. What bulbs does the Collier take?

The chandelier takes four E14 candle bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a soft ambient glow suitable for dining.

Can the chain length be adjusted after installation?

The chain length is set during installation by removing or adding links before the chandelier is wired. Once installed and wired, the drop cannot be adjusted without removing the fitting from the ceiling and re-wiring.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 772mm minimum drop means the chandelier works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above when hung over a dining table (allowing 700-900mm clearance above the table surface). Lower ceilings can accommodate the fitting if the chain is shortened during installation.

Does the frosted glass diffuser reduce light output?

Yes. The frosted glass softens the four-bulb output to approximately 60-70% of bare-bulb brightness. This reduces direct glare from the E14 candle bulbs and creates a more diffused ambient light, but it does mean you will need slightly higher-wattage bulbs compared to a bare-bulb chandelier to achieve the same perceived brightness.
