Collage 3 Ring LED Semi-Flush Ceiling Light 40W 3000K - Black

The Collage is a 685mm-wide semi-flush ceiling light built from three overlapping matt black metal rings, each incorporating a radial grille pattern that runs in curved arcs across the surface. An integrated 40W LED behind the grille structure emits 3000lm of 3000K warm white light, filtering through the layered rings to create graduated light patterns where the circles intersect.

Designed for modern living rooms, bedrooms and open-plan spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Collage drops 136mm from the ceiling to give the rings enough space to express their sculptural form without dominating the room. The three rings measure approximately 400mm, 350mm and 300mm in diameter, arranged in an offset overlapping configuration that creates visual depth from different angles across the room. The 120° beam angle provides broad ambient coverage rather than directed task light.

The matt black finish absorbs surrounding reflections and gives the grille pattern sharp definition against white or light-coloured ceilings. Where the rings overlap, the double layer of grille lines creates a denser texture and slightly darker shadow zone, adding dimensionality to the composition when lit. The semi-flush mount sits close enough to the ceiling to suit standard room heights while allowing the rings to stand clear of the ceiling surface. At 2.02kg the fitting is lighter than it appears and fits standard UK ceiling roses rated for the load.

The LED is non-dimmable and runs on 220-240V mains with no external driver required. The 3000K colour temperature provides warm ambient light comparable to halogen, softening the graphic black structure when lit in the evening. The fitting carries a 3-year warranty from Mantra.

Is the Collage dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at fixed brightness on 220-240V mains. The 3000lm output is designed for ambient room lighting rather than adjustable mood lighting.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting drops 136mm from the ceiling, so a room height of 2.4m or above prevents the rings from feeling too low when entering the space. In lower rooms the fitting can still work but may feel more prominent overhead.

What room size does it suit?

The 685mm length and 3000lm output suit rooms of approximately 15-20m². The 120° beam angle provides broad ambient coverage rather than concentrated task light, so it works best as a primary ceiling light rather than accent lighting.

Can the LED be replaced?

The LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation, which translates to around 10 years of typical domestic use before noticeable degradation.
