Description

The Coin Mini is a 430mm ceiling fan with integrated LED lighting and retractable blades that fold into the circular housing when the fan is switched off. The matt black metal housing contains a 70W integrated LED panel delivering 2500 lumens with tuneable white colour temperature between 2700K (warm) and 5000K (daylight). A DC motor drives four clear plastic blades that extend during operation and retract flush when stationary, leaving only the circular diffuser visible.

Designed for modern apartments, home offices and bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Coin Mini combines ambient lighting with airflow in a single ceiling-mounted fitting. The fan operates in forward (cooling) and reverse (air circulation) modes, controlled via the included infrared remote or the Mantra app over Wi-Fi. Both light output and fan speed are adjustable in increments, allowing precise control of brightness and air movement. The 120° beam angle provides wide even light distribution across a 12-16m² floor area.

The matt black finish hides fingerprints and integrates cleanly with contemporary interiors using dark accent tones or monochrome schemes. The retractable blade mechanism means the fitting presents as a low-profile circular ceiling light when the fan is not in use, rather than a traditional fixed-blade fan. Installation requires connection to a standard UK ceiling rose and secure fixing to a joist or ceiling support capable of bearing 6.2kg. The fan draws 70W at maximum output (light and fan combined), significantly lower than equivalent AC motor fans.

What's the difference between 2700K and 5000K on this fan?

Can it be fitted to a sloped ceiling?

The Coin Mini is designed for horizontal ceiling installation only. Sloped or angled ceilings require a ceiling fan rated for angled mounting, which this model is not.

The fitting projects 355-480mm from the ceiling depending on the drop rod configuration chosen during installation. For safe clearance above head height, a ceiling height of at least 2.4m is recommended.
