The matt white metal frame houses a central recessed square diffuser panel that sits approximately 10mm behind the outer rim, creating a layered geometric profile. The LED sits behind the acrylic diffuser, casting even light across the panel surface with a 120° beam angle.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and commercial spaces with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, the Coin suits rooms needing flexible ambient lighting. The included remote control adjusts both brightness and colour temperature, allowing the light to shift from warm 2700K for evening relaxation to cool 5000K for task-focused daytime use. How is the colour temperature changed?

The included remote control adjusts the LED colour temperature across the full 2700-5000K range in incremental steps. The remote also controls dimming from 0-100% brightness. The fitting retains the last-used setting when switched off at the wall and returns to that setting on power-up.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, equivalent to roughly 11 years at 6 hours per day.

What ceiling fixing does it need?

The 1.6kg weight requires either direct mounting to a ceiling joist or the use of plasterboard fixings rated for at least 2kg. The fitting connects to standard UK ceiling wiring via a terminal block inside the canopy. Installation must comply with Part P Building Regulations and should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
