The Coin Medium is a 440mm square flush ceiling light built around a single 80W tuneable LED panel surrounded by a matt black aluminium frame. The LED emits 3900 lumens through a diffused inner square, with colour temperature adjustable between warm 2700K and cool 5000K via the included remote control. The frame depth is 70mm from ceiling to underside, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above where a low-profile fitting is needed.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms, home offices and hallways where both ambient light and task light may be needed at different times, the tuneable CCT function allows the same fitting to shift from warm evening light to cooler daytime working light without changing bulbs. The remote controls brightness across a full dimming range and steps through the colour temperature spectrum. The 120-degree beam angle distributes light across a typical 4x4m room without hotspots or dark corners.

The matt black frame sits flat to the ceiling and conceals the driver and wiring behind the diffuser panel. The rounded corners of the outer square soften the geometry while the recessed inner square creates a layered depth that separates the black border from the luminous centre. The black finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, so the frame remains visually recessive while the lit panel becomes the focal element. At 1.6kg the fitting is light enough to mount directly to plasterboard ceilings with appropriate fixings.

How is the colour temperature changed?

The included remote control allows you to step through the full 2700K to 5000K range. The LED remembers the last setting when switched off and back on at the wall switch, so you do not need the remote for everyday use once you have selected your preferred colour temperature.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, the remote provides full 0-100% dimming. The fitting is not compatible with wall-mounted dimmer switches as the driver is controlled by the remote only.

What room size does it suit?

The 3900lm output and 120-degree beam angle cover a typical 4x4m bedroom or living room comfortably as the primary ceiling light. For larger rooms or rooms needing higher lux levels (home offices, kitchens), consider pairing two Coin fittings or choosing the larger variant in the range.

Can it be mounted on a plasterboard ceiling?

Yes. At 1.6kg the Coin Medium is light enough to mount directly to plasterboard using appropriate cavity fixings. Ensure the ceiling void has clearance for the 70mm fitting depth plus wiring.
