Coin Medium Round CCT LED Flush Ceiling Light With Remote Control - White

The Coin Medium is a 500mm round flush ceiling light with an integrated 80W LED delivering 3900 lumens through a white acrylic diffuser. The LED colour temperature is tuneable from warm white (2700K) through to cool white (5000K) using the included remote control, which also handles dimming. The fitting projects 70mm from the ceiling, giving a low-profile installation suitable for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms, home offices and hallways where general ambient light is needed without a pendant drop, the Coin provides even illumination across a room of approximately 15-20 square metres at full brightness. The 120° beam angle spreads light widely from the centre of the fitting, reducing shadows and producing consistent coverage. The remote control allows colour temperature to be adjusted throughout the day, cooler tones for daytime work, warmer tones for evening relaxation, without changing the bulb or fitting.

The white powder-coated metal frame surrounds the circular diffuser and mounts directly to the ceiling via a metal backplate with cable entry. The fitting weighs 1.6kg and requires a ceiling junction box or rose capable of supporting that weight. The diffuser is made from opal acrylic rather than glass, keeping the weight manageable while providing smooth, even light distribution without visible hotspots or LED point sources.

How is the colour temperature adjusted?

The included remote control allows you to shift the LED colour temperature between warm white (2700K) and cool white (5000K) in increments. This means you can choose warmer tones for evening use and cooler tones for daytime work or reading without changing the fitting.

What room size does it suit?

At 3900 lumens, the Coin Medium provides sufficient ambient light for a room of approximately 15-20 square metres (roughly 4m x 4m or 5m x 3m). Larger rooms may benefit from multiple fittings or supplementary task lighting.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 70mm projection from the ceiling makes the Coin suitable for rooms with ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards, where a pendant drop would feel obtrusive or reduce usable headroom.

Can the LED be replaced?

The LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of use (typical for modern integrated LED fittings), which translates to around 10-15 years of normal domestic use before any decline in output.
