When switched on, four clear acrylic blades extend from within the housing to a 1060mm total span, providing air circulation without the visual presence of traditional fixed fan blades.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4-3m, the Coin Air suits living rooms, bedrooms and open-plan dining areas where both ambient lighting and air circulation are needed but ceiling height or aesthetic preference rules out a traditional pendant fan. The LED ring light delivers 3300 lumens with adjustable colour temperature from warm 2700K to cool daylight 5000K, controlled via the included remote or a smartphone app. The DC motor offers six fan speeds and reverses direction for summer cooling or winter heat redistribution.

The wood-tone finish on the housing is a printed effect on metal, giving the appearance of natural grain without the weight or maintenance requirements of solid timber. The transparent blades retract flush into the housing when the fan is off, leaving only the circular disc visible against the ceiling. Installation requires a standard UK ceiling rose and the fitting drops 355mm from the ceiling when blades are retracted, extending to 480mm when blades are deployed and spinning. Does the motor make noise?
