Description

The Closed White Protea brings one of nature's most architectural blooms indoors without any of the upkeep. This artificial flower stem captures the protea in its closed form, with the tightly layered petals gathered into a neat cup shape that tapers to a soft point. Each petal has been shaped to catch light the way a real bloom would, with subtle tonal shifts across the cream and white surface and a gentle curl at the edges that keeps the head from looking flat or moulded.

Standing at 67cm tall with a head width of around 8cm and a depth of 12cm, the closed white protea holds its own in a tall vase or works alongside greenery and grasses in a mixed arrangement. The stem is made from plastic with a slightly textured finish that mimics the woody quality of a garden-picked flower. Pair a single stem with eucalyptus and dried pampas for a pared-back look, or group three or five together for something fuller. It suits a hallway console, a mantel, or a bedside table where fresh flowers would struggle to last.
