Description
The Cliffbourne Ikat is a table lamp that sets a stepped metal base beneath a 16cm gathered Ikat shade in digitally printed faux silk. The pleated, tapered shade has taped edge detailing and a plain inner lining, and the base gives it a neat, classic outline. It measures 380mm tall with a 160mm shade and weighs 0.7kg. A single E14 bulb up to 7W sits inside, it works with E14 LED bulbs, and an inline switch on a 1.5 metre black cable operates it.
This is a well-proportioned lamp for bedside tables, shelves and consoles, giving a soft, warm light through the printed shade. It suits bedrooms and living rooms where you want a decorative accent as much as a light source, and the compact base leaves room for books or a clock alongside. The inline switch keeps operation within easy reach on the cable, so you do not need a socket switch close by.
The stepped base comes in warm brushed brass or antique bronze, and the Ikat shade is offered in several colourways including coral pink, grey and natural tones. It is Class 2 double insulated, so no earth is needed, and IP20 rated for dry indoor rooms. Dust the fabric shade with a soft dry brush and wipe the base with a soft cloth, keeping damp and abrasive cleaners away from both. The Cliffbourne pairs the stepped base with our Ikat shade, and sits alongside Ivy and Zigzag versions in the range if you prefer a different pattern.
