Description

The Cleveland is a 2.3m traditional lamp post with a single lantern head finished in weathered bronze aluminium. The urn-shaped lantern sits on a tapered post with turned detailing and a flared base, housing clear seeded glass panels that diffuse light from a single E27 bulb (sold separately, up to 60W). The IP44 rating protects the fitting against rain and dust for year-round outdoor installation.

Designed for driveways, garden paths, front entrances and larger paved areas, the Cleveland provides ambient lighting across a 4-6m radius depending on bulb choice and placement. The 2325mm height positions the light source well above head height, reducing glare while distributing illumination downwards and outwards. The seeded glass adds texture to the light pattern, softening the beam without significantly reducing output. The weathered bronze finish develops naturally over time in outdoor conditions, deepening the patina.

The aluminium construction gives the post weather resistance without the weight of cast iron, while retaining the turned profile and proportions of a period street lamp. The E27 socket accepts standard Edison screw bulbs including LED filament styles that replicate the appearance of gas-era lamps, or higher-output LED corn bulbs for functional path lighting. The fitting requires hard-wired mains connection and benefits from installation into a concrete footing for stability on exposed sites.
