Description

The Cleveland 2 is a small outdoor wall lantern with a seeded glass shade housed in a weathered bronze aluminium frame, featuring a coach-style silhouette with turned finial details and a scrolled wall bracket. The single E27 bulb fitting sits inside the seeded glass, which diffuses light while leaving the filament visible through the bubbled texture of the glass. The IP44 rating protects against water splashes and dust ingress, making it suitable for covered porches, side entrances and garden walls under eaves.

Designed for outdoor positions where a traditional aesthetic is wanted but space limits fixture size, the Cleveland 2 measures 415mm tall by 185mm wide with a 238mm projection from the wall, fitting comfortably beside front doors, on cottage porches, or flanking garage side doors. The weathered bronze finish has a dark, slightly worn patina that softens under daylight and picks up amber tones when the bulb is lit. The seeded glass creates a soft halo of light suitable for wayfinding and door illumination rather than full-area floodlighting.

The aluminium construction resists corrosion in UK coastal and high-rainfall areas better than steel or iron equivalents. The turned finial on top of the shade and the decorative beading detail around the wall bracket give the lantern a heritage coach-lamp appearance without full Victorian ornament. The E27 socket accepts any standard Edison screw bulb up to 60W, including warm-white LED filament bulbs that replicate the look of incandescent lamps while reducing running costs.
