Description
The Clark Small is a wall light built around three stacked hexagonal frames in aged brass, with a cylindrical cream faux silk shade fitted to the upper frame. The single E27 bulb fitting sits inside the shade, casting diffused light through the fabric while the brass hexagons create geometric detail below the light source.
Designed for bedrooms, hallways, corridors and reading corners, the Clark Small works as solo accent lighting or in pairs either side of a bed, mirror or doorway. The compact 300mm height and 150mm projection from the wall suit spaces where a larger sconce would dominate. The aged brass finish has a matte, oxidised patina rather than a high polish, giving the metal a warmer, less reflective tone that pairs with both traditional and mid-century interiors.
The faux silk shade sits 280mm above the wall bracket, positioning the light source high enough to avoid glare at eye level when seated. The shade itself is off-white with a visible linen-style weave, softening the light output and reducing harshness from bare LED bulbs. The hexagonal frames are welded solid brass rather than plated steel, so the aged finish develops naturally over time rather than flaking or wearing through to a different base metal.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The Clark Small takes a standard E27 Edison screw bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-8W warm-white LED between 2700K-3000K for bedroom and hallway use.
Can it be used in pairs?
Yes. The compact size and symmetrical design make the Clark Small well-suited to pairing either side of a bed, mirror, or doorway. Order two units for symmetrical installation.
What's the difference between aged brass and polished brass?
Aged brass has a matte, oxidised finish with darker tonal variation, giving a warmer and less reflective appearance than polished brass. The finish is solid brass rather than plating, so it develops naturally over time.
Is the shade removable for cleaning?
Yes. The faux silk shade lifts off the upper hexagonal frame for dusting or cleaning. Use a soft brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the fabric, or spot-clean gently with a barely-damp cloth if needed.
