Description

The Clarityx is a 1100mm LED wall light housing an integrated 37W 3000K LED behind a white polycarbonate diffuser. The fitting measures 1100mm long by 90mm projection from the wall, distributing even light across hallway runs, above mirrors, or as supplementary illumination in living rooms and dining areas where ceiling heights or layout make ceiling fittings impractical.

Designed for horizontal mounting on plasterboard or masonry walls, the Clarityx fits standard UK wiring via a rear mounting plate and covers the cable entry point within the body. The 1100mm length makes it suitable for positions above sideboards, console tables, or along gallery hallways where a single fitting needs to cover 1-1.5m of wall. The 90mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, reducing obstruction in narrower hallways or circulation spaces.

The white polycarbonate body and diffuser combine to create a clean linear form that reads as a continuous strip of light rather than a visible lamp. The 37W LED produces warm white 3000K light output sufficient to act as the primary light source in a 2-3m hallway section or as secondary lighting in larger rooms. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only. The LED is non-replaceable and non-dimmable, rated for a 5-year warranty period from Ideal Lux.

Is the Clarityx dimmable?

No. The integrated 37W LED operates on full output only and is not compatible with dimmer switches. Connecting to a dimmer circuit may cause flicker or damage to the LED driver.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means the Clarityx is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It cannot be used in bathroom zones where moisture or water spray is present. For bathroom use, look for fittings rated IP44 or higher.

How is it installed?

The Clarityx mounts horizontally via a rear plate fixed to the wall with screws and rawlplugs (supplied). Mains cable connects to a terminal block inside the body. The fitting covers the cable entry point once installed, so no surface-mounted cable is visible.

What if the LED fails?

The LED is integrated and non-replaceable. If the LED fails within the 5-year warranty period, the entire fitting is replaced under warranty from Ideal Lux. After 5 years, the fitting would need to be replaced rather than repaired.
