Description

The Clarionis is a black steel mounting rail designed to hold LED strip lighting along walls, ceilings and architectural reveals. The 5.3m length supports continuous strip runs without joins, and the 60mm projection creates a stand-off gap between the wall and the LED strip, producing indirect wash lighting when the strip faces the wall surface.

Used in cove lighting installations, behind headboards, under kitchen cabinets and along corridor walls where indirect accent lighting is required. The steel rail fixes to the wall at regular intervals using standard screws and wall plugs (not included), and the LED strip clips or adheres to the front face of the holder. The 60mm projection is sufficient to hide most standard-width LED strips from direct view when installed above eye level.

The black powder-coated steel finish reduces visibility when the holder is used in shadow gaps or behind furniture, and the 5.3m single-piece length minimises the number of joints needed across long runs. The rail can be cut to shorter lengths on site using a hacksaw if the full 5.3m is not required. At 60mm projection, the holder suits installations where a deeper stand-off is needed than a typical adhesive clip provides, giving more control over the light throw angle.

What width LED strip does it hold?

The Clarionis is designed for standard LED strip widths between 8mm and 12mm. The strip either clips into the front face of the holder or adheres using the strip's existing adhesive backing, depending on the strip type.

Can it be cut to a shorter length?

Yes. The steel rail can be cut to any shorter length on site using a hacksaw or angle grinder. Cutting does not affect the structural integrity of the holder.

How is it fixed to the wall?

The holder is fixed to the wall using screws and wall plugs at regular intervals along its length. Fixings are not included. Typical fixing intervals are every 400-600mm depending on the weight of the LED strip being installed.

Does it work with dimmable LED strips?

The holder is a passive mounting rail and has no electrical components. It is compatible with any LED strip type including dimmable, RGB and addressable strips, as the holder only provides physical support and stand-off distance.
