Clarionis 8mm LED Strip Holder - White, 5m

Our Clarionis LED strip holder is a flat white band, 8mm wide and five metres long, held taut between two walls. Each end of the band meets a round wall mount with a tensioner, so the band runs in a straight, fine line across the room instead of sagging. Think of it as the carrier for your light rather than the light itself: the LED strip is not included and neither is a driver, so both need choosing alongside it. Once a strip is fixed along the band, the holder becomes a line of light suspended in the air.

Because it spans from wall to wall, the holder suits a room where you want light overhead without a single fixing in the ceiling: a long hallway, a corridor or a landing, and most of all a vaulted or freshly plastered ceiling you would rather leave whole. Run beneath a curved ceiling, a strip on the band can wash light across the vault, so the shape of the room does the work of a fitting. At 8mm wide the band reads as a pencil line, which keeps the eye on the architecture rather than on the light.

The band weighs just 0.06KG, so it puts very little load on the two walls that hold it, and the white finish sits quietly against pale plaster. Choose your LED strip with the band's 8mm width in mind, together with the driver that strip requires; connecting a driver to the mains is a job for a qualified electrician. Before ordering, measure the distance between your two walls and check it against the band's five metre length, so the line you picture is the line you get.

What comes in the box with the Clarionis strip holder?

You receive the white band, five metres long and 8mm wide, with a round wall mount and tensioner at each end. The LED strip and the driver are both sold separately.

Is an LED strip included?

No. The holder is the carrier only, so you add an LED strip of your choice along the band, and the driver that strip needs is not included either.
