Description

The Clarionis LED strip holder is a flat black band, 8mm wide and 5 metres long, that is tensioned between two walls to carry an LED strip across a room. You receive the band and its two wall-end fittings. The LED strip and the driver are not included, so the holder only becomes a light once you add both. The maker gives its overall measure as 5 metres long, 6cm high and 6cm deep, and it weighs just 0.06KG, so very little weight sits on either wall.

It suits a space where a hanging fitting would feel heavy, or where fixing into the ceiling itself is awkward: a vaulted hallway, a barrel ceiling, or a long room between two facing walls. Because it spans from wall to wall rather than dropping on a suspension, the band reads as one fine line, and a strip fixed along it can wash light across the ceiling overhead. It leaves the ceiling untouched, which matters in an older home with a curved or decorated vault, and it keeps the room free of hanging fittings.

Each end has a round black wall plate with a jointed head, joined to a slim cylindrical fitting with a ridged collar that holds the band.
