The Citronic XLRF-USB2 is an analogue to digital conversion lead with an XLR female (XLRF) connector at one end and a USB type A connector at the other. It lets you connect a line input, instrument or dynamic microphone straight into a PC or Mac, so you can record without a separate audio interface. It's a plug-and-play setup that draws power over the USB bus, meaning there's nothing extra to plug in.

Audio is handled with up to 48kHz analogue to digital (A/D) conversion, running a 16bit sampling format at either 48kHz or 44.1kHz. The signal-to-noise ratio is 83dB with a dynamic range of 80dB, and frequency response runs from 20Hz to 19kHz at 48kHz.
