Description

This Citronic microphone lead runs 6 metres from a female XLR to a male XLR, giving you the length to reach across a stage or studio without extra joins. It carries balanced signals, so long runs stay clean and free from the hum and interference that can creep into unbalanced cables. The yellow jacket makes it easy to pick out when you have several leads laid across a floor.

We build the lead with pure copper conductors, 20 strands of 0.08mm each, for good conductivity and a full sound. The 6mm cable is fully shielded and cotton-reinforced, with a soft-grip rubberised jacket that resists tangles and coils back neatly after use. Connections are machine-soldered for consistency, and the die-cast XLR connectors lock into place so they will not pull free during a performance.

The pin-out follows the standard balanced wiring: pin 1 ground, pin 2 hot, pin 3 cold. That means the lead works straight away with microphones, mixers, active speakers and any other gear built to the same standard. Whether you call it a lead here in the UK or a cable across in the US, this one is made to take the knocks of regular gigging and rehearsal while keeping your signal solid.
