Description

The Citronic XF-XM600RD is a 6 metre microphone lead with a female XLR at one end and a male XLR at the other. It carries balanced signals, which keeps noise and interference low across the full length, so it suits live stages, rehearsal rooms and studio use alike. In the UK we tend to say lead, while in the US it is often called a cable, but it is the same thing either way.

Inside, the cable uses pure copper conductors with cotton reinforcement, giving you clean sound and a bit of extra strength for daily handling. The 6mm jacket is soft-grip, rubberised and designed to resist tangling, so it coils away neatly and lays flat when you run it across a floor. The full shielding helps reject hum and keeps signals steady, whether you are running a vocal mic or connecting a piece of balanced audio gear.

The connectors are professional die-cast XLR plugs with a locking latch on the female end, so the lead stays put once it is connected. The joints are machine-soldered for consistent, repeatable connections that hold up to repeated plugging and unplugging. The pin-out follows the standard balanced layout: pin 1 ground, pin 2 hot and pin 3 cold. The red jacket makes it easy to colour-code your rig and pick this one out quickly in a bag of leads. It is a straightforward, reliable choice for anyone who needs a dependable mic lead they can trust night after night.
