Description

Our Citronic XF-XM600GN is a 6 metre microphone lead (mic cable) with a female XLR at one end and a male XLR at the other. It carries balanced audio signals, which helps keep noise and interference low over longer runs. That makes it a sensible choice for stage use, rehearsal spaces, PA setups and studio work where you need a clean, reliable signal from your microphone to a mixer or DI box.

The cable is fully shielded and built with pure copper conductors, arranged as 20 x 0.08mm strands, with cotton reinforcement inside. The jacket is a soft-grip, rubberised finish that resists tangling and stays flexible when you are coiling it down after a gig. The connectors are professional, locking die-cast XLRs, and the joints are machine-soldered for consistent, repeatable connections that hold up to regular plugging and unplugging.

The pin-out follows the standard balanced wiring: pin 1 ground, pin 2 hot, pin 3 cold, so it works with the usual mixers, preamps and stage boxes. The overall cable diameter is 6mm, which keeps it manageable in a multi-cable run without feeling flimsy. The green jacket also makes it easy to colour-code your rig, so you can tell channels apart at a glance during setup and teardown.
