Description

This Citronic microphone lead runs 3.0 metres between a female XLR and a male XLR connector, giving you a fully shielded link for carrying balanced audio signals. The cable is built with pure copper conductors and cotton reinforcement, so it holds up to daily use while keeping the signal clean and consistent from source to mixer.

The jacket is a soft-grip, rubberised finish designed to resist tangling, which helps when you are coiling leads at the end of a set or feeding them across a stage. Connections are machine-soldered for repeatable quality, and the die-cast XLR connectors lock into place at both ends so the lead stays put once it is plugged in. The connector housings are hard-wearing and suited to regular gigging.

The cable measures 6mm in diameter with 20 x 0.08mm conductors and follows the standard balanced pin-out: pin 1 ground, pin 2 hot, pin 3 cold. Balanced wiring like this rejects interference over longer runs, which is why it is the usual choice for microphones, DI boxes and other line-level gear. The blue jacket makes it easy to colour-code your setup so you can tell one lead from another during quick changeovers. If you need a dependable mic lead for live or studio work, this one covers the basics well.
